i'M posting yesterday's entry today ( hope you got that ^_^" ).
Today I went to a monthly tea party events. It took place in a H-U-G-E garden. The scarlet rose bloomed early this year, full and vivid in color. The orange trees was.....looked like a .........dead tree. First step, scent of Jasmine tea with a pinch of peppermint. Yum. Noticing surrounding, searching for target. Target found, band instructor is talking to Miss Leperis (the sponsor). Audience is clothed un-vividly, pale pink, baby blue, ivory, and OMG is that black? Taking the stage and getting ready for the 3-hour performance. The people looking so short from here (on-stage now)! The guests are helping themselves to the small sweets ( cakes. cupcakes, wafer, etc.). BLINKS! Lady in pink dress gets attack by a piece of cheesecake. SHOULD HAVE NEVER BLINKED!! TOTALLY MISSED THAT!! Getting ready for performance, warming-up. Miss Leperis makes the opening speech and then the anthem. Everyone stands, murmurs. Everyone Sits, a little girl with ponytail misses the chair and falls.THUMP! Giggles?Legs hurt! MUST SIT DOWN!! legs are soar after standing for two and a half hour. Not to mention supporting a big cello when standing! Taking a break, snacking on the sweets. Cheesecake,whip cream crowned with a strawberry. Yum. Melting. Soft. SWEET. So hungry. Gift shopping. Finds tea collector's spoon set. Buys it. Pretty gold, it elegance imprinted into 3 rose each. Sleepy. * two hours l8ter* FINALLY HOME. Ugh, sleepy. Have a nice day.
